What is included
What WordPress website maintenance includes every month
A WordPress maintenance plan is a fixed routine so your website does not fall behind or break without you noticing. This is what I do:
- Updates with a prior backup. I update WordPress, the theme and the plugins, and before each change I save a copy in case something fails.
- Weekly backup, stored on the server and also locally, so a copy does not depend on a single place. I keep one weekly and one monthly copy.
- Website monitoring. A monitoring tool alerts me automatically if your website goes down, so I find out before a customer calls you.
- Broken link review, since broken links hurt your visitors’ experience and your credibility with Google.
- Speed optimization (WPO). A slow website loses visits and enquiries. Here is how to measure and improve loading speed.
- Monthly report with what I have done, so you do not have to take my word for it.
- Change hours. You can ask for improvements to your website at no extra cost within your plan hours. Beyond them, an extra hour is €39 on the Basic plan and €35 on Peace of Mind.

How much does WordPress website maintenance cost?
You have three options, and none is bad depending on your case:

The Basic plan (€54/month) covers the essentials for a website with little activity. The Peace of Mind plan (€69/month) adds 1 hour of changes per month, a 36-hour response time and disaster recovery, designed for very active websites or online stores. If you pay for the year, you get one month free.
Who this service is for
I maintain around 15 real business websites, some built by me and some by other professionals. If your website already exists and I did not build it, no problem: I review it, bring it up to date and maintain it just the same. I work mostly with businesses in Mallorca (restaurants, tourist accommodation, services), although I have clients in Barcelona and all over Spain. You can see examples in my work.
How we get started
- You write to me on WhatsApp or through the form with your website address.
- I review your website and tell you which plan suits you and why, with no commitment.
- I bring everything up to date with a first backup and start the monthly routine. You receive your first report at the end of the month.

How do I know you are working on my website?
I send you a monthly report with what I have done. Although the best proof is that nothing breaks.
What happens if an update breaks my website?
I save a copy before updating, so I can roll back. If the problem is bigger, the Peace of Mind plan includes disaster recovery: I repair any force majeure problem.
Do you maintain websites you did not build?
Yes. I maintain around 15 websites, and I did not build all of them. I check their state before starting.
Where are the backups stored?
On the server and also locally, so I do not depend on a single place. I keep one weekly and one monthly copy.
What is the difference between maintenance and hosting?
Hosting is the server where your website lives. Maintenance is the ongoing work on the website: updates, backups, monitoring and support. They are different services that complement each other. If you do not have hosting yet or want to change it, I will recommend one and, if you prefer, I can manage it for you. Here is how to choose good hosting.
Can I leave whenever I want?
Yes, there is no lock-in. I invoice you every month until you tell me otherwise.
